Vocalist TONY HARNELL Hard At Work On New TNT Album
April 13, 2005TNT/STARBREAKER singer Tony Harnell has posted the following message on his official web site:
"I am hard at work on the new TNT album which is as yet untitled. So far it sounds great to these ears. But the news of the moment for me is of course STARBREAKER, which is continuing to make noise every day. The video for 'Lies' is soon to be seen on Norwegian TV as well as Italy and some other markets so this should make a deeper impact. I am doing tons of interviews for STARBREAKER so look for those coming out in the next few weeks and months.
"Also, the new BRAZEN ABBOT CD sounds great, I got a copy from Nik the other day. Really good stuff. I believe that will be released in June with my three songs on it. 'Another Day Gone' is my favorite from the ones I did and Joe Lynn Turner's songs sound amazing as always.
"I am just getting ready for the shows in England and Spain right now and will be spending the summer recording the TNT album, doing some more shows and then the fall should see STARBREAKER live followed by the new TNT album and another tour after that!
"Last week my wife Amy and I had a blast at Dee Snider's big bash of a birthday party last week. I got to see a lot of old friends including Sebastian and Maria Bach, Mark Wood, all the TWISTED guys of course, and many, many others. It was a lot of fun and I think it's going to be aired on the Discovery channel for some sort of part planning show, forgive me for not having the details!
"What else? Oh, I was in Peoria, Ill. What an odd little place. Very middle America, but cool. I sang a song for a Christian rock album called LIBERTY N' JUSTICE'Soundtrack of a Soul', which features a lot of really good singers and some great songs. No, I am not a Christian, but anyone who knows me knows I am a big supporter of anything which helps people live better lives and also I am a big supporter of religious freedom for everyone. So I think it's cool for people of different beliefs to get together and rock a little love into the world. Also it was a good song and the producer Mike Layne is someone I wanted to work with and was happy I did, great and talented guy. I also got to hang with our favorite webmaster Mr. Bryan Holland and his wife Tracy, both of whom I hadn't seen since WESTWORLD played Don Hill's in 2002! They drove down from Michigan to hang with me for a day and a half which was really cool as well.
"Oh, and I saw SOUL SIRKUS the other night in New York. What great band. It's going to be fun playing with them in England in a few weeks. Jeff was amazing and he and Neal make a great team.
"That's about it for now. More to come! Stay tuned..."
